Our Hope in Christ is a must have near. This book makes my bad days bright. With all the confusing and negative news all over the world, I find this book very informative and enlightly. Rev. Gerald Wrenn has a way to show great truths from the Bible easy to understand. He is more interested in rightly dividing God's Word than accepting traditional teachings that are not in the Bible.
The only possible way to know what happens to us after we die is in God's Word, the Bible. If it doesn't say in God's Word, then it's only man's opinion and only guesswork. There are plenty of opinions out there if that's what you want. This book is a study of God's Word related to what happens to us after we die and I appreciate the attention and commitment given to keeping it on the accuracy of God's Word..
"Our Hope in Christ" went far beyond my expectations. Gerald Wrenn's detail from the scripture on what is written on death and Jesus Christ's death and resurrection are enlightening. However his depth of understanding on the gathering together is exciting! He expounds on the trumpets (from scripture), also what the glory of the Lord looks like, and so much more. He also covers The Day of the Lord in similar fashion. I couldn't put it down on first reading and am more slowly digesting it on my 2nd reading. Recommended reading!
As a student of the bible for close to forty years, I found Gerald's book very informative and of great understanding of this topic in a simple format. As you read the book, you will feel as if Gerald is sitting there talking to you. Its a very personable book. It is good for the new Christian or someone who is a learned Christian. It is very detailed and simple, but not to complicated for anyone to understand. I highly recommend this book, to people who want to know about our hope in Christ.
For any student of God's wonderful matchless word, Gerald Wrenn's new book, "Our Hope in Christ" is an absolute page burner. While the entire volume is done in an excellently scholarly tone, it is enjoyably readable. The subject matter is beautifully laid out and presented to the reader in a logical and well ordered format. I for one could not put this book down! It was on my nightstand but only for a few nights because it reads so quickly and so well. Our Hope in Christ has already become the centerpiece of my biblical research and study efforts. This book is loaded with research material suggestions via a great bibliography. This is one of my great reads and at the very top of my must have books.

My Lord Jesus held the scriptures in the highest esteem; after His resurrection, on the road to Emmaus, He opened the scriptures to them regarding himself. My brother Gerald Wrenn has honestly, and humbly, opened the scriptures to us regarding our Hope in Christ. It just excites my soul to see the Word living. He handles the subject of death with honesty and love from God's point of view, as He gave it in His Word. Thank you! This book is wonderful! If you are tired of being tossed to and fro, this book will set it straight for you! I am re-reading! So thankful to God for the Hope of Christ!
